- Patient Experience
- Greet patients warmly and professionally in person and by phone
- Check patients in and out efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Confirm appointments and manage recall systems
- Handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
Scheduling & Office Flow
- Maintain an organized and efficient appointment schedule
- Coordinate treatment appointments and follow-ups
- Manage same-day changes, cancellations, and emergencies
Insurance & Financial Duties
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
- Do daily route slips
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Explain treatment plans, financial arrangements, and payment options
- Post payments and maintain accurate patient accounts
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Scan, upload, and organize digital files
- Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient care and scheduling needs
Office Support
- Support the dentist and clinical team as needed
- Maintain a clean, professional front office environment
- Assist with reports, correspondence, and general office duties
