Role Description
This temporary hourly role for an accountant is based in downtown Portland, OR. The accountant will assist the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports. Responsibilities include assisting accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, maintaining Ajera systems, and generating project financial reports. Estimated employment duration is 2-3 months and around 20-30 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Deltek Ajera software, general accounting principles, and financial reporting is a must
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams is preferred
- Strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reconciliation
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with architecture or design industry finances is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- CPA certification is a plus but not required
