ABILITY TO EARN UP TO $55/CLASS AN HOURLY RATE!
As a Fitness coach you can expect to perform the following duties:
- Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
- Helping members set and achieve goals
- Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections
- Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
- Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
- Being a team player
Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:
- Being AED/CPR certified – required
- At least 1 year of experience as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness, such as:
- National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- American Council on Exercise (ACE)
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA- Personal Training Cert only)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
- National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF)
- International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA- special provisions apply)
Job Type: Variable Hour Employee – Part-time & Full-time hours available
Hours per week: 20-40, 25 or more preferred
Compensation: You will be paid an hourly rate of $14.00 for administrative time including, not limited to meetings, continuing education, and community outreach events. The hourly rate is for non-class time hours. For classes coached, you will be paid based on OTF tenure and class attendance between $25 to $55 per class.
