Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing accurate change
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with reservations and check-outs
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
- Strong organizational skills to manage guest reservations and maintain a tidy front desk area
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Cash handling experience to process payments accurately
- Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Retail math knowledge for handling merchandise sales, if applicable
- Technology sales knowledge, if applicable
- Multilingual skills are a plus for assisting guests from different backgrounds
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
