Responsibilities

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and ensuring inventory accuracy through regular stock checks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly, maintaining professional phone etiquette, and resolving issues effectively
- Assist with cashiering duties including processing returns, exchanges, and retail math calculations for accurate transactions
- Support store operations by maintaining cleanliness, organizing displays, and adhering to merchandising standards
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail setting
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed
- Strong product knowledge across retail categories such as grocery or general merchandise stores
- Excellent communication skills in bilingual environments to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Skilled in customer service with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions involving discounts, taxes, or change calculations
