What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead School Bus Driver/Instructor - Transportation (OPEN TO OUSD EMPLOYEES ONLY) position at Orange Unified School District?
Open to OUSD employees only. Permanent employees and probationary employees who have served in their probationary period for at least six months or 130 days of actual service, whichever is longer may apply if qualified. Must Show Proof of High School Diploma or Equivalent. Requirements: You must have five years of experience in the operation of a school bus and one year as a School Bus Driver Instructor; or Three years of experience as a School Bus Driver Instructor.
- DMV Printout (K4 dated within the last 30 days)
- Possession of a valid Class A or B, California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
- Possession of a valid School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. Possession of a current First Aid Certificate approved by the Emergency Medical Services Authority or pass the First Aid Examination given by the California Highway Patrol.
- Possession of a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Possession of an unrestricted School Bus Driver Instructor Certificate issued by the California Department of Education.
