About the Employer

The Orange Unified School District serves approximately 24,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12th and encompasses all or part of the cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, Orange, Santa Ana and Villa Park. In 1953, the citizens of the area voted to form a “unified” school district, combining the original five elementary districts with the high school district into one unified district, now known as the Orange Unified School District. * Completed OUSD EdJoin Classified Management Application * Letter of Introduction addressed to: Ramon Sanchez, Interim Facilities Director * Current Resume * Three Letters of Recommendation (dated within 2 years, with a wet signature)

Comments and Other Information

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be: Experience: Two years of experience in construction/maintenance specification writing and/or preparation and supervision, six (6) years in a lead or supervisory position in the building construction/maintenance industry, or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Education: Education equivalent to the completion of 12th grade, equivalent to college or commercial courses in construction, materials testing and drafting. Condition of Employment: Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier. Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
