Overview:
Orange-Ulster BOCES Division of Adult and Continuing Education is seeking an experienced RN to teach adult learners in our LPN program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for education. This role involves classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, as well as curriculum development aligned with the NCLEX licensing exam.
Qualifications:
- Required: Licensed Registered Nurse or higher.
- Preferred: 3 years of nursing experience.
- Proficiency with technology (Google Classroom, Google Drive, Smart Tools).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct adult learners on nursing skills in the classroom, lab, and during clinical rotations.
- Develop curriculum and supporting training materials aligned to the NCLEX licensing exam.
- Demonstrate proper use of nursing tools and equipment, with an emphasis on safety.
- Ensure accurate student attendance.
- Provide support and feedback to ensure student success.
