JOB OPENING - SEPT 18, 2026Automotive Master Technician InstructorOrange Technical College – South Campus2900 West Oak Ridge RoadOrlando, Florida 32809Orange Technical College – South Campus is seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Master Technician to join our instructional team as an Automotive Master Technician Instructor.Position OverviewThe instructor will be responsible for providing hands-on and classroom instruction to a group of adult students enrolled in the Automotive Technology program.The ideal candidate will bring strong industry experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for sharing automotive skills and knowledge with the next generation of technicians.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide classroom and hands-on instruction in automotive repair and service.Teach students proper automotive diagnostic, repair, and maintenance procedures.Demonstrate safe and professional shop practices.Guide students in the proper use of automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment.Help students develop the technical and practical skills necessary for employment in the automotive industry.Maintain a safe, organized, and professional learning environment.Evaluate student progress and provide appropriate instruction and guidance.Student PopulationThe position will initially focus on teaching adult students.Opportunities or changes to include dual-enrollment students may be discussed as the program and instructional needs develop.Preferred QualificationsExtensive experience as an automotive technician.Master-level automotive knowledge and diagnostic experience.Strong practical experience in automotive repair and troubleshooting.Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.Commitment to student development and career preparation.Experience working with or training other technicians is highly desirable.Interested CandidatesIf you are an experienced automotive professional interested in sharing your knowledge and helping prepare students for successful careers in the automotive industry, please contact:Mr. Allan LynchAssistant DirectorOrange Technical College – South Campus 407-251-6000Location:2900 West Oak Ridge RoadOrlando, FL 32809Join us in helping develop the next generation of skilled automotive technicians!
