Food Services Staff

Full Job Description- The OSSD School Nutrition Program seeks full-time Food Service staff to join us. We are looking for a dynamic team player to work in our fast-paced, high-volume production kitchen, preparing healthy and delicious meals for our students and staff. Daily work includes responsibility for assigned prep tasks, serving meals in the meal service line, operating the purchase of sale register, washing dishes, and cleaning. Large-scale food prep experience and cooking from scratch are necessary, and experience working in a commercial or production kitchen is required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds on a daily basis, multi-task, and have a positive attitude throughout the day. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude during intense serving and preparation times and have good communication skills, written and verbal. Serve Safe certification is required and can be obtained within one month of hire.

Salary : $20 - $22
