We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and student-centered music educator to join our elementary team. This unique position offers the opportunity to build and sustain a vibrant music program across three closely connected school communities, with the majority of time spent at Braintree Elementary and Brookfield Elementary, and a smaller, supportive presence at Randolph Elementary.
This role is ideal for an educator who thrives on variety, collaboration, and the chance to make a broad impact by engaging students across multiple settings. You will play a key role in shaping a cohesive and inspiring elementary music experience that grows with students year to year.
**Responsibilities**
- Teach engaging, general music classes for elementary students
- Direct and develop, chorus and elementary band programs
- Provide small group and/or individual instrumental lessons
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and musical exploration
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators across all three schools
- Coordinate and lead performances that celebrate student learning and build community connections
- Contribute to a unified vision for music education across the district’s elementary schools

Qualifications
- Valid teaching license in music education (or eligibility)
- Experience teaching elementary general music and/or ensembles preferred
- Ability to teach instrumental music (band) at an introductory level
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for collaboration and working across multiple school settings
