Job Summary:
Come be apart of an exciting start up company that is bringing a no sales just service approach to the insurance world. It's hard to put a summary on this position because it has the ability to evolve into so many different roles as the business grows. You'll work hand and hand with with the owner on literally everything. Some days might be spent researching solutions to solve problems or creating processes & systems while other days might be spent gathering customer information and submitting quotes while other days might be spent creating social content or answering customer service calls. This is not a sales focused position but more of a business operations position - You are going to wear all the hats. The keys to us being successful are simple - We will communicate and quote faster than all other insurance companies while providing a level of customer service/experience that does not exist in the industry. Our clients will be coming directly from VFL Real Estate Team (Largest team in East Tennessee by transactions), other realtors and our lender partners. The client quality should be a dream job for a motivated insurance professional that enjoys helping people while growing a business from the ground up.
Responsibilities: Will vary day to day.
- Help build a business model that focuses on customer service and solutions not sales.
- Meet/Calls with potential clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options
- Explain policy features, benefits, and exclusions to clients
- Help Build systems and processes that provide the ability for the business to scale
- Gather customer information and input in systems for quotes
- Help create social media content to keep our customers informed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Collaborate with team members on best practices and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain the applied management system and EZ Lynx platform with customer information and policies.
Requirements:
- 1-3 Year of Proven experience in Property and Casualty on the independent side
- Ez Lynx quoting experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively and problem solve
- Must be able to make adjustments and change quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to explain what is going to happen next to customers.
- Valid P&C insurance license required
