This position reports directly to the Owner who sets the goals and objectives for this role. The Supervisor is expected to communicate regularly with the Owner on job progress and with any customer updates. Orange Roofing heavily utilizes technology to document and track communications, this position must be comfortable with the use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with the Owner to schedule, coordinate, and monitor projects in partnership with customers, builders, and subcontractors.
• Review project plan/specifications before each project.
• Problem solve questions or concerns with the Owner using the predetermined production checklist.

Quality Assurance:

• Oversee the precise installation process, providing guidance to our crews while ensuring property protection measures are properly implemented every time to ensure customer property is not being damaged.
• Ensure and maintain a safe and orderly job site.

Onsite Supervision:

• While onsite, lead and oversee production crews, ensuring strict adherence to our rigorous quality standards and documenting job progress using our Company tools.
• Ability to train crews on unique projects.
• Responsible for informing Owner of any scope of work changes including tool and material needs.
• Inform the Owner of any onsite issues.

Teamwork: Foster a collaborative environment with production crews, ensuring that roof replacement procedures meet our high standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress and notes using company tools such as Company Cam and Job Nimbus.

Resource Management: Assist in assigning and coordinating materials, dumpsters, and crews for each project.

Logistics: Facilitate the transportation of vehicles, equipment, trailers, and tools to and from job sites.

Problem Resolution: Collaborate with the Owner to manage all projects, addressing production challenges and customer concerns as they arise.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships on behalf of Orange Roofing with crews, suppliers, partners, and other industry stakeholders in the local area.

Financial Oversight: Support the Owner in monitoring and auditing project budgets and overall expenses.

Maintenance: Diagnose and perform minor repairs as scheduled.

Tech Savvy: Be comfortable with technology as Orange Roofing relies heavily on digital tools for communication, documentation, ordering, and tracking.

Desired Skills:

• Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in asphalt, metal, rubber, or other roofing installations.
• Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within production crews.
• Work Ethic: Exhibit a strong work ethic, driven to excel in a high-energy environment.
• Attention to Detail: Display meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in every task.
• Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills, crucial for maintaining positive working and customer relationships.
• Relevant Experience: Provide proof of prior experience in a similar position.
• Hands On: Ability to aid in unique production requirements.
• Tech Proficiency: Be proficient in or willing to learn relevant technology software and apps.
• Communication: Showcase exceptional communication skills.
• Spanish Proficiency: Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
• Physical Capability: Capable of climbing ladders and navigating roofs of varying pitches. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and 100 lbs occasionally. Light carpentry experience needed.
