Orange Moon Student Safety Services is hiring Night Monitors to provide overnight supervision for student groups staying in hotels.
This is a seasonal, overnight, independent contractor role with flexible scheduling and consistent assignments during peak season.
Pay & Schedule
- $16/hr starting pay
- $17/hr after 10 completed assignments
- $22/hr Code Red coverage
- 4–10 hour overnight shifts (typically 9:00 PM–4:30 AM)
- Self-scheduling — choose the nights you want to work
- Season runs late February through mid-July
What You’ll Do
- Monitor hotel hallways assigned to student groups
- Enforce curfew and noise expectations
- Conduct scheduled patrols and submit reports every 30 minutes
- Communicate professionally with tour directors and Orange Moon staff
- Document incidents and escalate issues when needed
Requirements
- Completion of mandatory online training modules
- Ability to pass a federal and state background check
- Strong communication and reliability
- Professional, punctual, and comfortable working overnight
