POSITION SUMMARY
The Pre-High School Programs Coordinator is responsible for managing camps, clinics, and other programs designed to engage pre-high school students in activities associated with Orange Lutheran High School, as defined by the Director of Community Engagement. Activities may include any offerings provided by Orange Lutheran, including but not limited to Athletics, Performing Arts, Missions, Home Schooling, Student Life, Visual Arts, Academics, Pathways, etc. These camps and/or programs are primarily focused on engaging elementary- and/or middle-school-aged students to help integrate them into the Orange Lutheran community before high school. This position is also involved with the promotion and administration of all program offerings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Work with the Director of Community Engagement to create and champion the scope and vision for Orange Lutheran pre-high school programs
- Ensure the Orange Lutheran culture and mission are embedded in each offering
- Articulate and share the OLu vision with future Orange Lutheran families
- Collaborate with the Director of Community Engagement, Orange Lutheran faculty, staff, coaches, and program directors/leaders to create and maintain program offerings
- Collaborate with the Director of Community Engagement and the marketing department on a Strategic Marketing and Communications Plan for all pre-high school offerings
- Secure facilities needed to run programs/camps (work closely with facilities management and operations)

Coordinate with the Director of Community Engagement to manage administrative aspects of pre-high school program offerings, including but not limited to the following:
- Manage camp operations during the summer and school year
- Program schedules
- Facilitate program/camp registrations
- Collecting program fees through a registration platform
- Maintain all program data
- Create program-specific graphics and collateral in partnership with Marketing
- With the Director of Community Engagement, engage with partner schools to determine and pursue partnership opportunities for program offerings
- Must have a visual presence at all Summer Camps annually
- Some weekend work is required, including but not limited to the Summer Camp season

BA or BS Degree
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position primarily involves sedentary work

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The typical working environment is split between a climate-controlled classroom/office environment and periods of work outdoors during events, with exposure to varying temperatures and climatic conditions
- The typical noise level is quiet to moderate, but may occasionally be loud at program events/activities
