As a Kitchen Helper, you will play an important role in supporting daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cleanliness, and food safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the food industry while working alongside an energetic, family oriented team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation including chopping, peeling, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, prep areas, equipment, and storage areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Support cooks during busy service periods with meal prep and timely order execution
- Properly handle, rotate, label, and store food items to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and assist with trash removal and cleaning duties
- Help restock inventory
Qualifications
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food service experience is a plus
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic kitchen and knife skills preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-volume shifts

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
