Morning team member (10am)

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Morning Team Member to join our dynamic food service team starting at 10 am. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and experience in fast-paced restaurant environments. The Morning Team Member will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a vibrant café or quick-service restaurant setting. Schedule would be Any weekdays and no Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and order accuracy
• Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Follow all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen procedures
• Ability to work well within a team in a retail or food industry setting
• Previous experience in cashiering or serving roles is highly desirable
• Flexibility to adapt to busy restaurant hours and multitask as needed
