What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Teacher Integrated Mathematics- Olentangy Orange High position at ORANGE HIGH SCHOOL?
Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an Integrated Mathematics position(s) available at Olentangy Orange High School for the 2026-27 school year. This position will help students learn subject matters and skills that will facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable, and responsible adults; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students; guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Employment status: Certified, 185-day employment contract
Qualifications for the position include:
- Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
- Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring). NOTE: If you are an ESC employee, intern, off-staff advisor/coach, short- or long-term substitute, or student teacher you must apply as an external candidate.
External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring) and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. In addition, a letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application. The online Teacher Candidate Assessment is sent via a link under separate email cover. On occasion, the email may end up in junk or spam mail. If so, the link will be titled “Do Not Reply” with the subject “Regarding your Olentangy Local Schools application”. Keep in mind that the Teacher Candidate Assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed within the designated time frame, and multiple attempts to complete the assessment are not permitted.
