GA Community Volunteer Manager

Monday through Friday  8:00am - 4:00pm

This is a full time position responsible for filling in at all Community Volunteer locations and for serving as an advocate for person-centered practices. This is a new position with growing responsibilities as volunteer sites are developed and operational systems are implemented. This manager will assist the Coordinator by filling in for all departmental positions, supply shopping for each location, and ensuring each site maintains a focus o safety and cleanliness. The manager may also assist the coordinator with departmental paperwork, program development and implementation, and staff scheduling. This person will work within the guideslines of Orange Grove, emsure their training remains current, and serve as a liaison between Orange Grove and the community colunteer sites. This position will demonstrate quality organizational skills, communicate openly and effectively, and demonstrate positive leadership abilities in all situations

Experience as a DSP required. Experiencing with economical supply shopping preferred. Understand of the importance of individuals with disabilities being active participants within their communities required. Excellent people skills and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently required Must possess a valid drivers license with and F endorsement and maintain liability automobile insurance.
