The Orange East Supervisory Union (OESU) is located in the beautiful Upper Valley of the Connecticut River in Bradford, Vermont. OESU is comprised of six schools and a technical center serving over 1,500 students in grades pre-K through twelve. Our schools proudly serve the towns of Bradford, Newbury, Corinth, Groton, Ryegate, Thetford, Topsham, Wells River and local tuition towns. Our boards conduct the business of providing leadership and support to schools for the purpose of improving educational outcomes for our students. Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking a Long-Term Elementary Special Education Educator starting on August 25, 2026 and lasting approximately six to ten weeks. The Elementary Special Educator will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient system of special education services designed to meet the needs of children in elementary school who have disabilities and developmental delays that impact access to educational program and learning.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual salary for this role is $46,738 – $90,067, based on experience, level of education. Compensation is determined by the district’s collective bargaining agreement, which considers factors such as degree level and years of service. This compensation range is provided in accordance with Vermont’s Pay Transparency Law and reflects a good faith estimate. Final salary may vary depending on qualifications, licensure, and other relevant factors
