What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant School Bus Dispatcher position at Orange County Transit, LLC?
Growing School Bus company is looking for an experienced Assistant Dispatcher for our Middletown location. Candidate should be able to efficiently help support the Head Dispatcher with scheduling & dispatching daily routes and trips and have excellent communication & organizational skills. Previous school bus or transportation dispatching experience preferred. Extensive data entry and telephone usage will be required. Position may require some driving when necessary.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years dispatching experience (School Bus industry preferred)
- Ability to pass drug screening, physical and background check
- CDL License with P & S endorsements, will train the right person
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with routing software
