JOB The Orange County Solid Waste Management Department openings for a Solid Waste Collector Driver. The work involves the responsibility for collecting and transporting solid waste and/or recyclable materials from Solid Waste staging areas to processing facilities using semi-trucks and tractor-trailers.
Work is performed under the general supervision of a Unit Supervisor with some leeway to exercise independent judgment within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in the performance of duties. Does related work as required.
This classification requires a CDL Class A driver’s license.
