Location: East Syracuse, NY
Office Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Rotating schedule; some Fridays may be scheduled off based on provider availability.)
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
The Oral Surgery Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within a high-performing oral and maxillofacial surgery practice. This role provides direct leadership to the oral surgery clinical team, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while maintaining full compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
This position requires a strong foundation in dental clinical operations, with a preference for oral surgery experience, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Candidates without direct dental experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership of the clinical team, ensuring accountability and performance
- Assist surgeons during oral and maxillofacial procedures as needed
- Oversee infection control, sterilization protocols, and OSHA compliance
- Ensure clinical equipment, operatories, and supplies meet operational standards
- Support staff training, onboarding, and ongoing performance management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dental clinical experience (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
- Oral surgery experience is strongly preferred
- Experience assisting with dental or surgical procedures
- Working knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and clinical workflows
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sedation or anesthesia procedures
- Strong organizational and team development skills
