Orale Mexican Kitchen in Jersey City, NJ is looking for one line cook/ dishwasher to join our strong team. We are located on 333 Newark ave., Jersey City, NJ 07302. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a dishwasher
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
