What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wash Room Operator position at OraLabs Inc.?
OraLabs is looking for a person responsible for washing tanks, machinery parts, pots and pans in a manufacturing establishment. This role is vital for ensuring that materials and material storage are sanitary.
Work Schedule: 2:15 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies, including but not limited to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Responsible for the cleanliness of parts and the washroom clean room.
- Ensures the equipment and storage locations are clean to company and FDA standards.
- Clean pots and maintain cleanliness of floors in the wash and clean rooms.
- Wipe down surfaces and ensure all equipment is organized.
- Perform maintenance and clean traps daily; complete cleaning log.
Education or Formal Training:
High School Education or Equivalent preferred or related experience or training
Experience:
At least 3 months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Bilingual a plus
Good organizational and communication skills
Good hand eye coordination
Ability to handle high stress environment
Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
Ability to sit, walk and/or stand for eight hours
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
