About the Role:
Oral Surgery Specialists of Oklahoma is looking for a friendly and organized Front Office Assistant to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, OK! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of a respected oral surgery practice while playing a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk phone queue
- Collect payments
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information in the practice management system
- Coordinate patient referrals and communicate with referring dental offices
- Prepare and organize daily patient charts and appointment schedules
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical front office setting preferred
- Familiarity with dental or medical scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes is a plus
- Strong outgoing personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
