We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
- Take and develop X-rays, utilizing medical imaging technology effectively.
- Manage patient records using Epic systems, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient history.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures.
- Provide support in specialized areas such as Endodontics and Pediatrics, adapting care to meet the needs of diverse patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Familiarity with Epic systems for managing patient records and appointments.
- Experience with 3D scanners and medical imaging technology is preferred.
- Knowledge of Endodontics procedures and pediatric dental care practices.
