Field Service IT Technician

Orada Technology Solutions is an IT Consulting Company, which is looking for a motivated and professional Onsite IT Support Technician to provide comprehensive deskside support at our Deerfield, IL location. This role requires someone who is comfortable wearing many hats in a smaller office environment.

Job Title: Onsite IT Support Technician

Location: Deerfield, IL (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• As the primary IT support on site, you’ll manage everything from device imaging and deployment to meeting-room AV setup and stockroom inventory management.
• Support end users on Windows 10/11 machines, troubleshoot Office 365, network printers, and scanners, and keep the site’s AV and conferencing systems running.
• Track devices in our asset management database, package and ship equipment with our logistics partners, and handle equipment retirement and data wiping according to company security policies. Because this site occasionally needs rapid support for executives or visiting teams, you’ll maintain a small stock of ready-to-go loaner devices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in IT preferred.
• CompTIA A , Microsoft MD-100/MD-101 certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of IT support experience, with proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
• Technical Skills in Windows 10/11 desktop support, Imaging and reloading devices with corporate standard builds, Microsoft Office 365, Printer, scanner, and peripheral troubleshooting, AV/conferencing support (Zoom, Teams, basic AV hardware), Asset management tools (CMDB/ServiceNow)

Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff alike.
