  • Drive the strategic direction for OCI’s change automation and deployment processes, establishing standardized frameworks that promote predictability, repeatability, and efficiency.
  • Architect innovative solutions and develop a multi-year roadmap to simplify operational complexities, increase automation, and mitigate risks throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Champion best practices to improve the stability, scalability, and operability of OCI’s global services, ensuring alignment with customer and business requirements.
  • Guide and influence cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives that deliver tangible business value.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top technical talent worldwide to scale the team in support of an ambitious organizational charter.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence across the deployment landscape.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and stakeholders, communicating strategic plans, progress, and outcomes effectively.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,200 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale critical service.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology-driven environment.
  • Exceptional decision-making abilities, with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high-performing teams.
  • Passion for solving complex technical challenges and fostering innovation in fast-moving environments
  • Strong executive presence and ability to align engineering direction with business outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions that significantly impact the organization’s infrastructure, with potential implications for revenue and long-term operational success.
  • Experience in managing a large scale critical service in a Cloud computing
  • Expertise in Distributed Systems, IoT, and automation
