What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quotes Specialist position at Oracle?
The Quotes Specialist is responsible for generating professional services estimates in support of sales opportunities for their region. The Quotes Specialist will work with the services sales leads and the sales teams, to position the appropriate solution mix, phasing, and allowance strategy. Independently manage projects through multiple stages to successful completion, meeting all deadlines, executing project-related tasks, and deliverables.

- Collaborates with internal clients to consult and negotiate pricing and contractual terms and then makes decisions as to contractual approach.
- Resolves problems efficiently while considering multiple perspectives, groups and inputs.
- Analyzes data, thinks critically, quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Advises internal clients on related issues and interpretation of contractual approaches.
- Participates in coordination of workload management, balancing of tasks, and shares knowledge.
- Builds, maintains, and contributes to a network of internal relationships.
- Performs other responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain professional services files and records for all quote activity generated.
- Works in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures. Understand personal role and safeguarding corporate and client assets. Takes appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of role.
- Follows Oracle Cerner policies, accounting and/or governmental guidelines, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.
- Makes effective decisions while navigating Oracle Cerner systems and keeps in mind the cross-functional aspect of the role.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in sales support/sales operations, and/or quoting experience
- BA/BS degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail oriented, and time management skills
- Proficient in Email, MS Word and Excel
- Able to work effectively under time critical deadlines
- Demonstrates resilience in times of change and uncertainty
- Excellent customer service skills
- Analytical mindset; ability to evaluate alternative courses of action
- Knowledge of Oracle policies and procedures desired
Key Skills and Qualifications (Preferred, but not required):
- Oracle Health related experience
- CPQ skills/experience
