The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute team is seeking a passionate, experienced Principal Technical Program Manager ready to tackle complex business and technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. As OCI continues to scale to demands of an ever-growing customer base and regions, we need program managers who can drive large-scale initiatives to ensure OCI continues to provide an outstanding customer experience while continuously improving the efficiency of development processes. Responsibilities:
The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for leading programs focused on new product introductions, service certifications, capacity delivery, initial customer onboarding, as well as complex, cross-organizational programs that impact both product and business for OCI. In addition, this specific role requires a passion for solving high-impact problems and the ability to jump into any in-flight project and get it on the rails.
Our Technical Program Managers are responsible for defining strategies for programs, identifying technical impacts on the organization in relation to business requirements, driving delivery, effectively communicating project status, and suggesting changes to utilize company resources more efficiently. They regularly participate in executive meetings to present progress and share project information with stakeholders. This is a high-visibility role, managing programs with regular communications up to the VP/SVP level of OCI.
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
- Drive critical cross-organizational programs that can span all organizations within OCI.
- Work across various service teams to scope, develop, identify success metrics and timelines for programs.
- Provide technical leadership, but not line management of cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple, parallel programs, including operational improvements.
- Responsible for meeting deliverable deadlines
- Define requirements scope, including estimations for deliverables such as requirements and conceptual design tasks and related documentation.
- Create risk management plans and maintain a risk register.
- Host regularly scheduled status meetings with stakeholders
- Manage communication across departmental / cross-functional teams.
- Develop PMO deliverables, including SOWs, Project Charts, Project Schedules, and Resource plans.
- Prepare communication plans and strategies for stakeholder engagement.
- Plan project deliverables, including hardware, resources, and hours.
- Manage projects from implementation to closure.
Basic Qualifications
- 8 years of relevant work experience in program and project management in a hardware New Product Introduction capacity, ideally in the GPU and CPU space.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
- Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels, including the executive level.
- Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.

Salary : $97,500 - $199,500
