As an Enterprise Solution Architect within Oracle Applications Labs (OAL), you’ll define the enterprise architecture across mission-critical applications to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s rapid expansion. This is a chance to influence enterprise applications strategy, identity AI opportunities, and work directly with senior executives to build a solutions roadmap that will make a measurable impact at massive scale.

About the Team

Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) designs and implements the internal Fusion applications that run Oracle. The Enterprise Solution Architecture (ESA) team within OAL sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. We ensure technology investments deliver real business value by aligning priorities, shaping the applications delivery roadmap, and driving solutions that accelerate Oracle’s growth. The team partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, and executive leadership and is deeply focused on enabling OCI’s continued momentum.

Scope of Role

As an OAL Enterprise Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end architecture for a portfolio of high-priority applications initiatives. You’ll leverage deep expertise in business processes, Fusion applications, AI and cloud infrastructure to define scalable solution architectures, determine scope and effort, and guide successful delivery.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Responsibilities:

Experience required 

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in total across solution architecture, solution scoping and design, applications project implementation and cloud infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Business Applications (ERP, CRM, Data and analytics, AI), ideally with Oracle Fusion.
• Experience in leading systems architecture engagement with senior business and engineering stakeholders to define roadmaps, ratify solution design and validate delivery plans.
• Natural bias towards practical hands-on solutioning and problem solving, with a drive for results while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive and innovative attitude around design and delivery of solutions to customers coupled with the ability to articulate a solution strategy to internal customer and executives.
• Practical experience in leveraging standard architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and underlying architecture tooling.
• Ability to break down complex problems/issues to determine the appropriate assessments and recommendations to fix the issues.
• Able to develop strong internal relationships. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
• Undergraduate or higher-level degree(s) holder or have equivalent work experience.
• Background in the high tech, software sectors.
• A set of Oracle Cloud certifications on Fusion, Data, Infrastructure and AI would be very beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
