- Maintain Oracle’s Environmental Test Specifications
- Define ETE test plans for all OHD and third-party products
- Provide HW Development Engineering with test reports and pass/fail decisions on ETE testing performed at Oracle
- Set up and configure servers or racks for testing according to a test plan.
- Set up and operate test equipment for Environmental Test Engineering (ETE), Transportation/Package, and Acoustic testing including vibration tables, drop testers, environmental chambers, and acoustic measurement equipment.
- Analyze test data and communicate test results clearly to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in a high-tech engineering or lab environment.
- Familiar with Environmental, Transportation, and Acoustic industry standards such as IEC 60068 series, ISO 7779, ASTM, and ISTA.
- Experience with creating test plans for ETE testing
- Experience with programming and operation of vibration tables, drop testers, environmental chambers, acoustic measurement equipment, wind tunnels, thermocouples, and power analyzers.
- Experience with rack servers and networking products.
- Experience with server rework and changes for CPUs, DIMMs, drives, and fans.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
