What you will do:
- Facility Management - As a member of the Americas management team, the Senior Director will oversee the Western U.S. and partner with our Integrated Facility Manager (IFM) provider on the delivery of services to a given geography consisting of both owned & leased offices. This individual will understand the Master Services Agreement and manage the contractual performance requirements of supplier for their region. They will foster a culture of innovation, safety, and service excellence.
- Financial Management - Provide regional input into Real Estate & Facilities’ annual expense budget, forecasts, and capital plans ensuring cost control and value optimization. Review and approve work orders within service provider’s system and utilize the supplier’s business intelligence tools. Participate in monthly governance and financial review meetings. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics; provide quarterly input regarding vendor performance.
- Leadership - Manage and supervise Facility management staff to include weekly 1-1s, goal setting, team training, weekly team calls, performance management and annual performance reviews. Collaborate with peers to align on best practices and service delivery.
- Operations – Ensure facilities team is conducting regular supplier meetings and daily walk throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and equipment/system functionality (i.e., HVAC, etc.) Ensure each office has a current business license and utility payments are current. Partner with vendor regarding delivery of property management services within select locations. Leverage innovative technologies (such as AI) to optimize facility operations and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Interface and maintain relationships with internal lines of business regarding facility needs/requirements. Partner with other internal departments such as Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Transactions, Global Engineering, Project Delivery Management, Operations, Enterprise Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Legal, HR and Tax. Work closely with occupancy planning on adjacencies, move planning, expansion, relocation, or contraction scenarios.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the management team, you will oversee facility management and building-related services for several locations within the Western U.S. and work closely with our IFM provider on service delivery. You will be responsible for budgets, facilities modifications, and personnel management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 10 years’ progressive experience in facilities management with significant leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record managing Integrated Facilities Management solutions.
- Experience managing operations in a complex, matrix, and culturally diverse environment.
- Strong financial acumen managing operating and capital budgets.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail as well as the ability to synthesize information to make accurate & informed decisions.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skill in working with internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with email, Microsoft office applications, work order & purchase order systems is essential.
- Willing to function as after-hours contact for facilities emergencies and be accessible via phone.
- Travel is necessary. Cell phone necessary after hours.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Professional certifications from BOMA, CNG or IFMA are desirable.
