The Director of NPI Program Management is responsible for leading and orchestrating end-to-end new product introduction (NPI) execution across OCI hardware and infrastructure programs. This role will lead a team of Operations Program Managers who drive and lead global, cross-functional teams to deliver new products on the product roadmap. These releases will require driving alignment with product development, other functions within supply chain, and the delivery teams to ensure seamless transition across various organizations. In addition, this role will manage any operational activities required through the life of the program. Operating in a highly distributed environment, the Director ensures disciplined program governance, clear executive communication, and risk-managed execution across all release builds and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:
NPI Planning & Program Leadership
Own and manage all NPI planning for product release builds, ensuring alignment across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality.
Drive program structure, timelines, dependencies, phase gates, risk mitigation, and deliverables across globally distributed teams.
Execution & Change Management
Drive alignment and the plan of record between demand planning and manufacturing on NPI builds and ramp production schedules.
Ensure all supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering functions are completing checklists and delivering to critical milestones.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks across product, supply chain, and manufacturing readiness.
Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Governance & Phase Gate Management
Define and enforce phase gate exit criteria for all NPI milestones.
Lead readiness and executive reviews, clearly outlining risks, trade-offs, and required actions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, and Quality to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and reliability.
Act as the central coordination point between design, manufacturing, and planning teams globally.
Product Life cycle Management
Manage products after NPI through sustaining and end-of-life
Drive stop/ship and purge activities and decisions, ensuring clear communication of impact, risk, and recovery plans.
Ensure any post NPI ECOs are implemented, and second source part qualifications are completed, to minimize supply risk and manufacturing disruptions.
Executive Communication
Deliver concise, high-impact updates to senior leadership, clearly articulating status, risks, and required decisions.
Standardize “net it out” communication practices across program teams.
Qualifications
12 years of experience in program management, product engineering, or NPI within complex hardware or cloud infrastructure environments.
Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional product launches.
Deep expertise in product lifecycle management (PLM), ECO processes, and manufacturing readiness.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across global, matrixed organizations.
Exceptional ability to distill complex issues into clear executive-level communication.
