Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence is seeking a high-performing Senior Cloud Account Executive to lead strategic cloud sales across a portfolio of Federal Civilian and Judicial agencies. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of Cloud Computing, AI, Data, Cybersecurity, and Federal IT Modernization, helping agencies accelerate mission outcomes using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Candidates must reside in the VA/ greater Washington, DC area and be comfortable with a hybrid work model involving customer-facing meetings and in-office collaboration three days per week.

Responsibilities

About the opportunity (What you will do)

This role will own building and executing a growth plan to increase cloud adoption exponentially YoY in the appropriate cloud regions applicable to the agencies’ mission. Primary job duty is to build a partnership and serve as a client advocate for your customer while positioning Oracle cloud to meet the mission of the customer. You will also be responsible for managing your territory through the entire sales process, to include business development, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales support. This role will also be working with a cross functional team that includes, capture and business development, software, consulting, and hardware.

In this role, you will understand Dev/Sec/Ops models and be responsible to provide Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions to mission critical problems. Your success in this role will mean you are able to leverage the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. The successful candidate will build and expand business partner and system integrator relationships and help identify mutual benefits from the partnership.

Required Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 8 years of enterprise technology sales, including experience with Cloud Technology sales
  • Proven success selling into the Federal Government market
  • Experience supporting or selling into agencies such as DOJ, DOL, HUD, Judiciary/U.S. Courts, IDFC, USSC, or Peace Corps strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed quota and grow strategic accounts
  • Strong business development, prospecting, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, enterprise IT infrastructure, and digital transformation
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition and procurement environments
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $113,100 - $185,100 per year. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45 / 55.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
