Our busy ophthalmology clinic and optical center in Northwest Tucson is seeking a full-time ABO Certified Optician to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current ABO certification (required)
- Previous optical experience preferred
- Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with patients
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with eyewear selection and optical sales
- Perform eyeglass and contact lens fittings
- Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear
- Collaborate with fellow opticians, clinic staff, and optometrists to ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming optical environment
