Position Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR functions within ORA Orthopedics. In this role, you will serve as both a strategic partner and hands-on leader, working closely with executive and administrative leadership to align people strategies with organizational goals while ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the organization. You will directly supervise the HR team, fostering a collaborative, service-oriented environment, while also remaining actively involved in employee relations, compliance, and key initiatives. Responsibilities include leading recruitment strategy and managing hiring; supporting workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design; overseeing compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and benefits programs; and leading the annual open enrollment process. This role also involves compliance responsibility, including ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations, serving in key roles such as HIPAA Privacy Officer and Corporate Compliance Officer, overseeing reporting requirements, and maintaining HR policies and the employee handbook to ensure consistent application across the organization. ORA holds all our staff accountable for providing high-level care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations.
Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership, preferably in a healthcare or multi-site environment. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is desired. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of employment laws and healthcare compliance requirements, demonstrated experience handling employee relations and compensation programs, and the ability to lead with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. Success in this role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to effectively present information and respond to employees and external partners.
