ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney (midlevel) with at least 5 years of law firm litigation experience to join their New York office as part of their Global Insurance Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ideal candidate will have 5 years of insurance coverage experience representing policyholders or insurers, coupled with litigation experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills are essential, along with litigating first party claims concerning multiple lines of coverage and bad faith claims.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues are key.
• Experience with depositions and the ability to handle cases with limited supervision are important, and trial experience is a bonus.
• Excellent academic credentials and admission to the New York bar is preferred.

Salary ranges from $250,000 DOE
