Anatomic Pathologist – Tumor Board assistance
Opus Pathology, a private pathology group, is seeking a board-certified Anatomic Pathologist to join our collegial team serving a respected teaching hospital in Memphis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled pathologist who wants some extra remote work. We primarily need help with participation in tumor boards. But pathology case work is available to be reviewed and diagnosed remotely, should the candidate be interested in this as well. Subspecialty training would be preferred.
Position Highlights
- Part-time and remote Anatomic Pathology tumor board participation
- Several multi-specialty tumor boards weekly, including GI, GYN, GU, Heme, Dermatology, Breast
- Strong general pathology diagnostic skills essential
- Supportive, physician-led private pathology group
- Collegial environment within our group for consultation and callaboration
- Candidate will be required to have a TN medical license, and will need to be credentialled at the appropriate hospital(s)
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Strong diagnostic pathology skills across a broad case mix
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and laboratory staff
- Currently has a TN medical license (preferred), or eligible for TN license
