Job Purpose |

The Equipment Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment, manages parts inventory, and ensures accurate documentation. This role provides essential support to station management and requires a proactive approach to operational excellence under the direction of the Systems Support Manager.
This is a full-time position; standard hours are 40 hours weekly. - Daytime Technician Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM |
Duties & Responsibilities |

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to Emission Testing Equipment. - Participate in company-provided training for the following equipment: o Computers o Peripherals o Printers o Gas Analyzers o Dynamometers o RPM Units o OBD Units o Bar Code Readers o Pneumatics - Perform parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed. - Complete necessary paperwork and record all maintenance and repair activity. - Provide station management with phone consultation regarding immediate equipment issues when not yet on-site. - Other duties as assigned by management team. |
Qualifications:
Education & Work Experience |

- Must be 18 years of age or older. - Possess a current, active, and unrestricted Driver’s License. - Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics is preferred – but not required. |

- Work is performed in an area with a high noise level. - Exposure to exhaust fumes and extreme weather conditions. - Ability to perform lifting of 75 lbs. from ground to chest level. - Frequent walking, bending, and stooping. |
The compensation for this role is $21.50/hr
