Opulent Property Management is looking for a sharp, reliable, detail-obsessed Housekeeping Inspector to help maintain the luxury standard our guests and homeowners expect.
This role is responsible for inspecting each vacation home before guest check-in to ensure the property is spotless, fully stocked, functioning properly, and completely show-ready. You will also help coordinate and stay in control of scheduling our local cleaning teams to make sure homes are turned on time and to our standards.
This is not a typical Monday-Friday, 9-5 job. Our busiest days are weekends, holidays, and peak travel periods, so flexibility is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect vacation homes before guest arrival
- Ensure each home is spotless, staged, stocked, and guest-ready
- Check that lights, TVs, appliances, Wi-Fi, AC, pools, hot tubs, doors, locks, and basic home systems are working properly
- Identify and report maintenance, cleaning, inventory, or presentation issues immediately
- Coordinate with cleaning teams to ensure turnovers are completed on time
- Hold cleaners accountable to luxury hospitality standards
- Restock basic supplies when needed
- Take photos/videos when required to document condition
- Communicate clearly with management, cleaners, vendors, and guest support team
- Help protect the guest experience and homeowner asset
Ideal candidate:
- Has experience inspecting vacation rentals, luxury homes, hotels, or hospitality properties
- Understands what “guest-ready” and “show-ready” actually mean
- Has extremely high standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Is organized, reliable, proactive, and not afraid to hold people accountable
- Can spot small details others miss
- Is comfortable working independently and moving between multiple properties
- Has strong communication skills
- Has reliable, presentable transportation
- Is available weekends, holidays, and during busy check-in/check-out windows
Requirements:
- Prior vacation rental, housekeeping inspection, luxury hospitality, hotel, or property management experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Flexible schedule required
- Must be local to the Jacksonville Beach / Ponte Vedra Beach / St. Augustine area
- Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
