What the Right Candidate Will Enjoy!
- Playing a pivotal role in a large-scale studio supply chain rebuild—driving AI integration across 25 applications.
- Collaborating within a dynamic, cross-functional engineering team that values creativity and innovation.
- Working hands-on with leading-edge AI models and frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph).
- Building scalable, production-grade systems that bridge media workflows with intelligent automation.
- Enjoying a long-term (24-month) contract, hybrid work environment (3 days onsite in Glendale, CA), and an opportunity to contribute to transformative technology at enterprise scale.
Experience of the Right Candidate:
- 5 years of backend or systems engineering experience, with at least 1 year integrating AI technologies or workflow-centric platforms.
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot), TypeScript (Node.js), or Python—flexibility across languages expected.
- Strong production experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CDK, etc.).
- Proven ability to build scalable microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka, EventBridge, or SNS/SQS.
- Experience integrating APIs, middleware, and backend services to support intelligent automation and orchestration.
- Exposure to AI/ML SDKs or APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with workflow engines, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native observability practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in agile, multi-team environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
- Design & Develop AI Middleware: Build robust APIs and middleware services that expose studio data and tools to AI agents through model context protocols (MCP).
- Integrate Agentic Workflows: Implement intelligent orchestration and workflow automation using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph to enhance production and localization processes.
- Productize AI Services: Convert AI prototypes into production-ready microservices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and observability in cloud environments.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with ML engineers, platform teams, and product managers to deliver business-ready AI capabilities.
- Standardize AI Integration: Define frameworks for how LLMs and agents interface with internal systems and data services.
- Ensure Compliance & Governance: Implement audit logs, tracing, and approval checkpoints for safe and compliant AI integration.
- Contribute to System Modernization: Play a central role in unifying and modernizing applications across the studio supply chain ecosystem.
- Mentor & Lead: Share technical insights, influence architectural direction, and contribute to a collaborative, innovation-driven engineering culture.
