As an integral member of our team, you will:

Perform comprehensive eye and vision examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g., OCT, unified imaging systems, automated visual fields).

Diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of ocular diseases and conditions, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including specialty contact lenses for various vision needs.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using our integrated Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.

Educate and counsel patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventative care in a clear and compassionate manner.

Work effectively within a team supported by skilled technicians and office staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow across all our locations.

What We're Looking For:

Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.

Current, active state license to practice optometry in Connecticut.

Experience in a busy private practice or clinical setting preferred, but all qualified candidates will be considered.

Proficiency with modern eye care techniques and a willingness to leverage new technology for enhanced patient care.

Exceptional communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to a multi-office setting.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. This role involves working closely with patients of all ages, ensuring excellent patient care, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Optometrist will utilize advanced EMR and EHR systems to deliver efficient and effective eye health services while adhering to HIPAA regulations. A strong background in ophthalmology, optical experience, and pediatrics is highly desirable.
