Our private optometry office in Wethersfield is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and personable individual who works well in a team environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Personable with strong patient communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, proactive, and a team player
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients throughout their visit
- Performing diagnostic testing, including visual fields, OCT, auto refractions, and fundus photography
- Scheduling appointments
- Maintaining and managing inventory
Experience is preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate.
