Optometric Center & Eyewear Galleria is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Technician who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Looking for part-time with possible full-time as practice grows.
We are a growing private practice specializing in comprehensive eye care, dry eye treatment, specialty contact lenses, scleral lenses, and myopia management. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Checking in glasses and contact lens orders
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Return patient voicemails promptly
- Help patients with questions or concerns
- Coordinate with opticians regarding patient needs
- Reconcile daily statements and paperwork
- Notify patients when glasses and contact lenses arrive
- Train patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses
- Order specialty and soft contact lenses as needed
- Assist with glasses and contact lens billing
- Work closely with doctors and staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office preferred
- Medical office experience is a plus
- Experience with Crystal PM is a bonus
- Knowledge of contact lenses is helpful but not required—we will train the right person.
