Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the assembly line to ensure timely production output
- Lead a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance and safety
- Uphold Quality Assurance and Standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assist with assembly tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, components, and finished products within the warehouse and production areas
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the production process, addressing any deviations promptly
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and safety inspections
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations
- Communicate with CEO, COO, Director and Plant Manager effectively and efficiently throughout shift.
- Accountability and knowledge of SOP's, training and certification of production departments.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line involvement
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, factory safety standards, FDA regulations, Quality Assurance
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high levels of motivation and morale
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform manual tasks as needed
