Production Lead-Nutraceuticals

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead to join our manufacturing team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production operations within our manufacturing facility, ensuring that processes run smoothly, efficiently with quality and safely first. As a leader on the factory floor, you will coordinate assembly line activities, manage team members, and uphold quality standards to meet production goals. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with factory equipment will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the assembly line to ensure timely production output
• Lead a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance and safety
• Uphold Quality Assurance and Standards
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assist with assembly tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, components, and finished products within the warehouse and production areas
• Monitor quality control standards throughout the production process, addressing any deviations promptly
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and safety inspections
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations
• Communicate with CEO, COO, Director and Plant Manager effectively and efficiently throughout shift.
• Accountability and knowledge of SOP's, training and certification of production departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line involvement
• Mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
• Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, factory safety standards, FDA regulations, Quality Assurance
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high levels of motivation and morale
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform manual tasks as needed

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
