Position Summary
The Software Technical Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for customer technical support, providing timely assistance across the Optivate software and healthcare technology environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting issues through diagnostic techniques, guiding users through resolution steps, and determining effective solutions based on customer needs. Escalate complex issues as needed, document all interactions, and provide consistent follow-up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction. Contribute to process improvements and participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as required.
**Applicants must be local OR be willing to relocate to the Bonita Springs area within a reasonable time frame following their start date.
Position Requirements
- 4 years of positive and relevant work experience
- Designing and Installing Microsoft Windows Server 2012/newer based systems
- Active Directory/Workgroup Authentication
- Network/Workstation/Server Best Practices
- Server Fault Tolerance Best Practices
- Server Backup Best Practices
- Group Policies
- Server and Workstation Troubleshooting/Maintenance
- WAN Infrastructures including VPN.
- Remote Desktop/Terminal Services
- Network Design/Troubleshooting/Maintenance
- Database Maintenance & Reporting
- Experience with Microsoft SQL server
- Effective Communication with Clients & End Users
- MCSE Certification or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Exceptional Troubleshooting Skills
