We are seeking a clinically strong and adaptable Float Medical Provider to serve as a primary provider within a designated home clinic while also supporting broader provider coverage needs across additional clinic locations. This role maintains a consistent clinical presence in their assigned clinic and provides secondary onsite and virtual coverage across the market as needed to support provider PTO, transitions, scheduling gaps, and operational priorities.
This position plays a key role in maintaining continuity of care, clinical consistency, and patient access across supported locations while delivering comprehensive, medically supervised care across weight management, hormone optimization, and metabolic wellness programs.
Position Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for new and established patients, developing individualized treatment plans aligned with metabolic, hormonal, and overall wellness goals.
• Diagnose and manage metabolic, hormonal, and cardiometabolic conditions using evidence-based protocols within scope of practice.
• Order, interpret, and monitor laboratory testing — including use of the Options Health Panel (OHP) — to guide safe and effective treatment decisions.
• Prescribe and manage FDA-approved weight management medications and hormone therapies in accordance with state regulations and company guidelines.
• Provide ongoing patient follow-up and personalized health coaching, reinforcing metabolic health, hormone balance, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and long-term adherence to care plans.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, educating patients on safe self-administration when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a consistent clinical presence in the designated home clinic while providing secondary onsite and virtual coverage across additional locations as assigned.
• Support clinical continuity during provider PTO, transitions, schedule gaps, or operational needs to ensure uninterrupted patient access and care standards.
• Participate in training and skill validation initiatives to maintain alignment with company clinical standards and patient engagement strategies.
• Provide input to clinic leadership regarding patient care trends or opportunities for improvement.
• Support overall clinic operations and patient flow as needed to maintain efficiency and service standards.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
• Primary clinical assignment within a designated home clinic.
• Secondary coverage responsibilities across additional clinic locations within the market.
• 10–20% travel required based on operational needs.
• Combination of onsite clinical care and virtual patient support.
Required Education and Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted licensure in multiple states where the organization operates, or ability and willingness to obtain additional state licensure as required.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Preferred Education and Experience
• 5–7 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA preferred.
• Experience in medical weight management, obesity medicine, hormone therapy, endocrinology, or related metabolic health settings.
• Background in retail healthcare, cash-pay, or consultation-based clinical environments strongly preferred.
• Experience in men’s health, women’s health, longevity, or preventative care settings.
• Strong knowledge of metabolic health, insulin resistance, cardiometabolic risk factors, and hormone optimization therapies, including management of testosterone or other hormone replacement protocols.
• Familiarity with evidence-based pharmacologic weight management treatments.
