This is an on-site, full-time role based in Corona, CA, for a Social Worker at Options For Youth Public Charter Schools. The Social Worker will provide support to students by addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs. Responsibilities include conducting individualized assessments, offering counseling services, developing intervention strategies, collaborating with teachers and staff to support student success, and facilitating access to community resources. The Social Worker will work directly with students and families to foster a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Proficiency in counseling, assessment, and case management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of community resources and effective intervention strategies
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple student cases
- Master's degree in social work or related field (required)
- Experience working with high school-aged students in an educational or social services setting is preferred
- Current social work licensure or eligibility for licensure
